Our Panelists
- Diane Randall worships with Friends Meeting, Washington in Washington, D.C. where she serves on the Ministry and Counsel Committee. From 2011-2021, she served as General Secretary of the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) helping the organization develop its citizen advocacy, young adult programs, and direct lobbying of Congress on Friends’ priorities for peace, justice, and environmental stewardship.
Diane carries a concern for how Friends’ faith and practice is manifested in public ministry, especially in this challenging era of social and political conflict. She serves on the steering committee of the Urgent Call to the Religious Society of Friends concerning democracy in the USA as well as the advisory board of Earlham School of Religion. - Emily Provance is a Quaker traveling minister from Fifteenth Street Meeting in New York City. She’s also an associate of Good News Associates, which is a Christian nonprofit ministry organization supporting individuals who are called to non-institutional ministries.
Among Quakers, she initiates and coordinates projects that vary greatly in topic but are unified by approach. She helps people who are very different work together on things they all care about. She has a deep faith in the power of relationships as the most reliable pathway to peace and to change.
